Previously I had written about the ‘Google Sand Box’, in regards to  new websites not getting indexed by Google until it has  been thoroughly spidered by the Bots, and determined not to be a ‘spam website’. So, how long does it take for a new domain to enter Google’s Directory? We will soon find out because I have just put a new website on the internet, www.kanecountyremodeling.com. This new website has very little content and only four pages so far. I want to let it simmer on the web for a while just to see how long it takes, and what it takes to get picked up by Google. I don’t have the time to generate more Content, and I noticed that my last website OrchardGroupBuilders.com had achieved a Page rank of zero after sitting on the web for 5 months; it too had little to no content. Now here’s what I did, I added keywords to the content, added Keywords to the Image Alts, Meta’s, and Title Tag. I linked the website, Kane County Remodeling.com to Cheap Web Design In Elgin.com, and my blog, The Webmasters Mind-Meld. Furthermore, I added www.kanecountyremodeling.com to the Signature of a few Forums I participate in. I had written previously that Forums were an easy, and very good way to get back links for your website.

That’s it for now. I want to see what kind of results I will get from the above. I need a benchmark because Clients always want to know when their new website will meet all its expectations. I am hoping it will get picked up within a few weeks, if it doesn’t, I will add more content, and do some more linking. That’s Kane County Remodeling.com, keep an eye on it.
