Submersible Pump Service LLC – SEO – New Website

Submersible Pump Service LLC is a new website I published yesterday. I like to mark these days with a blog post so I can measure SEO progress. I have been pretty busy so the On and Off Page Optimization has not been a full court press. I added the URL to my Forum Signatures, now I have to post relevant posts, and post frequently. Also, I added the link to (4) websites I own. Even this post will be short. The end.

New website completed and put online 12-4-09. Comfort Cleaning Solution: Commercial Cleaning Services,Janitorial Cleaning Services, and Office Cleaning Services. The website has allot of Content provided by the owner so it should show up well in the Searche Engines, as usual, I am blogging to mark the progress of this website inregards to SEO. I have noticed that the owner has started to particpate in a Cleaning Forum, which is good, however he needs to add his link to the Forum signature to generate backlinks. I’ve added his link to my websites, and forum signatures as well. God speed as usual, and I will encourage the owner to blog as well. Bueno !

Illinois Window Repair

New website, Illinois Window Repair, is a partner site of llinois Window Service. I am trying to capture the key phrase niche ‘window repair’, and ‘window service’. I have varied the Content so Google won’t penalize me, and now it’s time for the ‘Off Page SEO’. I have lnked the site to my websites, added domain to my forum signatures (with active posting), submitted to free directorys, blogroll here, and more. Lots of ‘busy work’, and I like to make this post a benchmark in regards to monitoring the SEO progress beacuse the website was just put online, Bueno !

Illinois Window Service

New project completed today, Illinos Window Service.com. Key phrases are Illinois Window Service and Illinois Window Repair. SERP’s are near 20,000,000 for those phrases so it won’t be an easy task to place the website on page 1. It all boils down to ‘off page SEO’. Lots of busy work spreading the link all over the Internet. Including this Blog ! LOL. Once again I added the URL to three Forum Signatures, five websites, I even snuck the link on some unsuspecting customer websites. Not much more to report, I will use this post as a benchmark to measure the progress, follow along if you want !

SEO Tutorial (SEO 101)

I added a new page to my website Cheap Web Design in Elgin.com, its a SEO Tutorial. 10 easy steps to Optimize your Website. Many people struggle to get thier website to show up in the Search Engines, and I wanted to explain that it’s not that hard ! A common problem I often see is that people don’t put keyphrases in thier Title Tag. In my opinion, the Title is extremely significant in regards to SEO. The lead sentence in your webpage content is also a big deal, I recommend putting your main Key Phrase in it, and Bold it for emphasis. Also, it took me awhile, but I figured out that Link Building wasn’t that hard either. I found it hard to exchange links with other websites, but I found other ways to build links, for example, putting your Link in a Forum Signature seems to be the easiset.

Can You Add This to the Meta Tags?

I did some work for a couple of guys that wanted a ‘Cash for Gold’ website. They were in the metals business, and local, they were legit. Nice guys too, I dealt mainly with one of them, which made the relationship less cluttered. Anyways, I explained how SEO works, or will not work for that matter. ‘There are no shortcuts. I explained the ‘niche’ they were aiming for was extremely competitive, and I would do my best to place thier website, but there were no gaurantees. The SERPs for the keyphrase ‘Cash for Gold’ was 135,000,000 at Yahoo, and 16,000,000 at Google. Note: Google filters out more irrelevant junk than Yahoo. Anyways, the website got built, with Content at a minimum, which is not my plan of attack, but hey, what do I know.

The website got published, and off I went to do ‘my thing’, which no one I do work for seems to understand. Tons of busy work. I plopped thier URL on my websites, on this blog, of which I wrote something that Google always seems to pickup. I sat behind my PC and pounded away to prop up thier website with Backlinks. This included Forum Signatures, Directory Submission, and tons of Yahoo Answers, as well as Blog Comments. I got close to building nearly 4000 Backlinks in less than a month. Along the way I noted that Yahoo, and MSN were picking up the website early where Google was being stubborn. They were indeed showing up in the SERPs for some pretty decent ‘keyphrases’, and, much to my chagrin, they were getting some Conversion. People were filling out the online form, this seemed like success to some degree, it was a good thing.

Then came the changes. I suggested adjusting the content for keyword density because the website owners were obsessed with the key phrase ‘cash for gold’. The content got adjusted, then a few days later, I was asked to readjust it which meant downgrading the Keyword Density. What followed next, was daily changes in asethics, and questions about fluctuations in the SERPs. One of the websites owners was looking at the Source Code of competing websites, and wanted adjustments in regards to keywords, and key phrases in the Meta Tags, as well as in the Title. No big deal, keep these guys happy, why not let them have thier fun and success. One of the guys noted, ‘I think I understand this now’… meaning the SEO. Following up on that premise, I was told by one of the guys that he had looked at the Source Code, and had noted that some unknown ‘characterers’, more specifically, and was preventing the key phrase, ‘cash for gold’ to be completed. At that point, I snapped, couldn’t hold my water anymore. What this guy was refering to was the HTML Code that specifies Bolding of a word, which is a valid SEO Tactic. I replied to the email by saying, ‘this is too much, I’m done, goodbye…’. I didn’t even want to expend any energy explaining what he misread.

The bottom is that there are no shortcuts in SEO, at least not nowadays. Thinking that adding Keywords to the Meta Tags would improve your SERPs may have been true 10-15 years ago, but not today. The Internet has gotten more sophisticated, and competitive. If you want good position and conversion, you gotta work at it, and readjust only when you have let your changes get analyzed and processed by Search Engines, which usually takes 2 – 4 weeks. That’s it for now, another one bites the dust. Cash for Gold !

Gold King 4 Cash

has been online for 6 days,and it’s really showing up well in Yahoo, and MSN. ‘Cash for Gold’ is the phrase that pays but currently we will thankfully take ‘more cash for gold’ as a keyphrase that is showing up 6th out of 109,000,000 entries at Yahoo. Furthermore, the keyphrase ‘pays more cash for gold’ is number 1 at MSN out of 2,000,000 entries. Google has yet to hand us thy ‘holy grail’ so it’s interesting so far. This boon of selling gold for cash has come about because the economy is in the tank. I advised the owners of the website,GoldKing4Cash.com, that considering they are getting excellent position in the SERP’s, they better have a selling angle to beat the competion which in many cases, has had commercials on TV, including one during the Super Bowl.

God speed, and god bless because it’s time convert. Your website don’t mean squat unless the visitors do what you want them to do. Lastly, I’m the unsung hero in this saga because I’m pounding away on them there ‘backlinks’. Give us a look see, give us a nod because here we come.

There’s Gold in them there hills ! Actually there’s Gold you’re wearing, or at your house that may be ‘unwanted’, so why not sell it. Ok, this is a new project for a coupla fella’s that wish to throw thier hat in the ‘Cash for Gold’ ring. This market is currently booming because the economy is not booming. This will be interesting because from a SEO standpoint, the SERP’s for related ‘key phrases’… ‘Cash for Gold’, ‘Sell unwanted Jewelry for cash’, ‘sell scrap metal for cash’ are averaging 16,000,000. Heck, even an AdWords campaign looks daunting.Well, well, we will just see how the Search Engine Gods will treat this new website, as we begin to build links. And admittedly so, this blog post is part of the campaign.

Montenegro Holiday Apartment(s) For Rent !

SOS, save our santa? No, Montenegro Holiday Apartment(s) For Rent ! I am helping a pal with some SEO. Sarah is building a website, and wants to market rental apartments in Montenegro. Simple stuff, I hope. I had her put a key phrase in the ‘Title’, I had her add keyphrases to the HTML Image Alts, and a key phrase on the top of the page. Yes sir, you gotta tell the Search Engines what your website because they don’t have eyes. The competition doesn’t seem that formitable, the SERP’s we’re aiming for show approximately 200,000 websites to beat at Google. I think we can do it. That’s why I’m writing about this plight, and as usual, I have plopped the URL in some established Forum Signatures, Free Directories, and linked to my websites through some heavy duty ‘anchor text, (ha ha). And here, at this goll dang blog.

Ariston Family Medicine in Hinsdale, IL, new project. Doctor Maria J. Douros wanted a revamped website with sufficient SEO for her site to rank for search terms relevant to Hinsdale, and various medical terms. For example, Hinsdale Doctor, Hinsdale Family Medicine, Hinsdale Osteopathic Medicine, Family Medicine in Hinsdale. Do you get the picture?

I had her domain transferred from Yahoo which was her old Web Host. I must have spent 6 hours on the phone with Yahoo, they are awful, I would not recommend them to anyone ! Her new web host is Hostmonster, which is my web host. Whenever I call them, I am on hold no longer then 5 minutes. Also, I made some affiliate cash from her signup. So far, I have done web work for both of the Douros sisters, Niki, and Maria. I believe they have a brother that is in the medical field, maybe I’ll do some work for him. Niki is a Dentist, her practice is ironically named Ariston Family Dental Care ( can you say’Greek’). I have Niki’s website out ranking her DexKnows ads, which is a waste of money,in my opinion. She signed up long term, so she is stuck with them. DexKnows really knows how to prey on the unknowing medical professional. If you don’t know anything about DexKnows ads, they are one page profiles placed as Google Sponsored Ads. Oh well, the sharks are out there. Perhaps i should put on a sharkskin suit myself. Ok, I’m off to get link out there, Tally Ho !
